Announces Appointment of Rob Blazek, RPh. as
Director of New Business Development
(Hoffman Estates, Ill., October 10, 2005)
–Rx EDGE®, today announced the appointment of
Robert J. Blazek, RPh. to Director of New
Business Development. Blazek brings a diverse
and extensive healthcare industry background to
Rx EDGE. Most recently, Blazek was with
CVS/pharmacy, where he served as Manager of
Patient Intervention Programs. In that role,
Blazek was responsible for sales, implementation
and analytics of direct to patient programs and
in-store DTC advertising. Prior positions at CVS
included Regional Healthcare Manager and Staff
Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager.
A frequent spokesperson for the industry, Blazek
has served as a panelist and speaker at the DTC
Perspectives National Conference, the
Pharmaceutical Marketing Congress National
Meeting, and the eyeforpharma conference.

Blazek will be responsible for leading the
development of key growth opportunities across
current and new businesses for Rx EDGE. He holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from
Purdue University.
